National production of oil and gas was record in June this year, according to the Monthly Bulletin of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP)released this Friday (1st).
Total production (oil and gas) reached 4.900 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. The result considered the pre-salt, postal and the wells on land.
- Oil: Extracted 3.757 million barrels per day (BBL/D), an increase of 2.1% compared to the previous month and 10.1% compared to the same month of 2024.
- Natural Gas: 181,636 million cubic meters per day (m³/d). 5.4% increase compared to May and 20.9% compared to June 2024.
Pre-salt
The pre-salt also recorded a new record in oil and natural gas production in June. It reached the mark of 3.860 million boe/d. 1.5% growth compared to the previous month and 12.7% compared to June 2024.
