National Police rescues the colonel from prison 15 of Azua

Staff of the National Police rescued this Monday afternoon colonel Ricardo Bidó, commander of the prison 15 of Azuaand who was kidnapped for several hours for a recluse of the penitentiary center.

Diego Pesqueirathe uniformed press officer, told Free Diarythat the officer this wounded and that the priority now is to receive medical attention. He indicated that the officer’s wound was inflicted by the prisoner, whose name is unknown at this time.

“He colonel was modest and the priority of National Police At this time it is to provide assistance to the colonel what was wounded by this prisoner,” he said.

He assured that the National Police “has complete control of the situation“.

It was learned that an ambulance had arrived at the prison facility, located in the Azua province. Also that shots had been heard.

Prisoner’s situation

In relation to the situation of the recluse that he took from hostage to the commander, Pesqueira said he had no details about him at the time.

“I am waiting for the details of what happened to the prisoner, I don’t know if he is woundedI don’t know anything at the moment, but the situation is under the control of the National Police“, he noted.

Several agents were deployed around the prison since it was known that the colonel was taken captive.

It is not known, until now, the reason why the recluse took from hostage to the commander of the prison.
