From the early hours of the morning of this Friday, December 31, the police personnel stationed in the 14 regional offices distributed throughout the country, began patrolling and prevention tasks in order to guarantee citizen security and tranquility on the eve of the new year, complying with the guidelines established by Major General Eduardo Alberto Then, general director of the National Police.
Agents attached to the Central Directorates of Prevention, Investigation (DICRIM), Intelligence and other dependencies of the institution of order, are strategically distributed in the different residential and commercial areas.
Major General Alberto Then made it clear that the serious, honest and hardworking people of this country deserve to surround themselves with a climate of peace and security, free from situations that endanger their physical integrity and property, which is why these preventive actions are carried out in an arduous manner and constant in order to give a quick and effective response for the benefit of citizens.
