The authorities of the National Police and the Public Ministry they carried out a new day of Operation 2.0 “Peace Guarantee“at different points of the province Sánchez Ramírez, which resulted in 21 businesses being intervened, a firearm seized and five motorcycles detained, in addition to the purge of 32 vehicles and 36 people.
The operation was carried out in the municipalities of Cotuí, La Bija, La Mata and Fantino, led by the governor Christian of Alba; the regional director Cibao Sur, General Jesús R. Tejada Tejada; and the coordinator Cristian Ortiz, from the Ministry of the Interior and Police (COBA), together with teams from the DNCD, DICRIM, DINTEL and the Preventive Police, reports a press release from the police entity.
Billiards and centers alcoholic beverages
He said that, in terms of establishment control, they were intervened six billiards and 15 businesses of sale of alcoholic beverages. In Cotuí, seven businesses were closed and another six were notified; in La Bija four were closed; in La Mata, two; and in Fantino, three.
During the inspection of the amusement center The Little Holein La Recta de Los Corozos, the agents occupied a Taurus pistol 9 mm caliber with magazine and 15 capsules, which was carried without documents by Francisco Antonio Amparo64 years old. According to the clearance, the weapon is not registered.
Likewise, at the One Place Disco establishment, in Villa La Mata, five motorcycles were detained without documentation, as part of the vehicle control operations.
The authorities reported that these interventions will continue running in different sectors of the provincewith the aim of reinforcing the citizen security in the region.
