Santo Domingo – President Luis Abinader, accompanied by the first lady Raquel Arbaje, will light this Tuesday the Christmas tree of the National Palace decorated with pieces made by Dominican artisans and artisans.
The event, which will take place this Tuesday at 7:00 pm on the esplanade of the Government House with the presence of ministers, directors and officials, is part of an agenda of activities that will take place during the Christmas season.
In a press release it was indicated that Manos Dominicanas provided 687 pieces of crafts for the decoration of different areas of the National Palace, made with various techniques and whose details can be seen on the Christmas tree.
The blessing will be in charge of the priest Fray Kelvis Acevedo, parish priest of the San Rafael church; and Pastor Dio Astacio, liaison with the Christian Church. Meanwhile, the presentation of the musical “Magical Christmas in concert”, produced and directed by Luis Marcell Ricart.
The population will be able to enjoy this display of color, music and talent, through a live broadcast on Channel 4 and the social networks of the Presidency and the first lady.
