National Meeting of Venezuelan Indigenous Teachers promotes inclusive policies for educational quality

Original communities of the country held the I National Meeting of Venezuelan Indigenous Teachers in order to promote spaces for participation and debate, as well as promote inclusive policies, comply with the action plan of the Congress of the New Era and promote educational quality.

The information was released by the Minister of People’s Power for Education, Yelitze Santaella, who through a message posted on the social network Twitter @MPPEDUCACION, highlighted that this activity promotes inclusive policies.

“We defend our historical memory, we strengthen ancestral knowledge for the decolonization of knowledge. The commitment to our native peoples is unconditional”, pointed out the head of the Education portfolio.

On December 1, the Congress of the New Era, chapter: Indigenous Peoples, held a meeting that allowed the integration and unity of the aboriginal peoples, in order to thus build a concrete action agenda.
