The National Coordinator for Human Rights (CNDDHH) and the Association for Human Rights (Aprodeh) filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office against members of the Resistance group.
The document was presented by Jennie Dador, executive secretary of the CNDDHH, and Gloria Cano, lawyer and director of Aprodeh, with the aim of investigating the members of various violent groups such as “La Resistencia”, “La Insurgencia”, ” Los Combatientes” and “Los Patriotas”, who, in turn, would form part of a criminal organization that plans, coordinates and executes mobilizations with the use of violence.

The complaint alleges that These groups are made up of a multiplicity of people, with a stable, permanent and organized nature over time, which not only disturb public order, but also commit other illegal acts, causing personal injury and property damage to some authorities, politicians or other civil groups.
Among the main victims of these groups, especially “La Resistencia”, are the president of the National Elections Jury (JNE) Jorge Luis Salas Arenas; the Prosecutor and member of the “Lava Jato” Special Team, José Domingo Pérez; the journalist Jaime Chincha, recently attacked with a sit-in outside his house, and other people.
“Absolute rejection of the attacks by violent groups like La Resistencia. We demand that the prosecutor’s office and the police speed up their investigation of the complaint filed with Aprodeh against these aggressors. The impunity of their acts must end. Solidarity with the journalist Jaime Chincha”, reads a statement on Facebook of the CNDDHH.

It should be noted that, on many occasions, it has not been possible to identify the financing of acts of vandalism promoted by these groups, which is why the National Coordinator for Human Rights and the Association for Human Rights request that the Prosecutor’s Office begins the investigations to determine responsibilities and avoid their dangerous actions.
The accused are Juan José Muñico Gonzales, Flor de los Milagros Contreras León, Jaime Roselló Torres and Roger Ayachi Soria, but the complaint would reach all those involved in the violent demonstrations of the group “La Resistencia” and the like.
