Agents of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) arrested six subjects who participated in detention of persons and extortion to obtain certain sums of money in dollars from such acts, according to reports.
One of the procedures took place on Highway D, in the municipality of Simon Bolivar (Tia Juana), Zulia, in response to a complaint filed with Conas. At the scene, three members of the El Adrian and Yet Nava gangs were arrested, identified as Jose Miguel Yagua Perozo (El Yagua), Gexamar Josefina Rodriguez Andrade and Thais Josefina Andrade Pineda, from whom they seized a bulletproof vest liner, a fake military ID, and a gray Ford Laser, license plate YAI22L.
These people are linked to the kidnapping of Karelyn Vanessa Díaz Rodríguez, an event that occurred on August 8 and was rescued on Wednesday the 14th.
And in the Los Olivos sector of Barcelona (Anzoátegui), Conas officials arrested Alexander José García Suárez and Wilfredo Celestino Tayupo Rivero, who were reported by several victims of extortion.
These subjects were seized two 9 mm Taurus PT24/7, PT809E pistols, 65 cartridges of different calibers, two caps, a jacket with the initials of the Peñalver municipality police (Puerto Píritu), a bulletproof vest, a pair of handcuffs and 4 radio transmitters.
