The Framework Plan contained 517 indicators that commit 53 State entities and agencies to comply with what was established in the peace agreement, but this Friday 80 new ones were added and 120 adjustments were made to the existing ones.

The settings are “aimed at strengthening the strategic commitments of the agreement such as comprehensive rural reform, security guarantees, differential ethnic and gender approaches and the themes of truth, justice and reparation.”

The director of the Peace Agreement Implementation Unit, Gloria Cuartas, assured that with the review “comprehensive vision is recovered” of the process “with the inclusion of central themes” that were included in the agreement signed by the Government and the FARC on November 24, 2016, thus “The Framework Plan is brought closer to what was agreed.”
The new measures include access and formalization of land for farmers who participate in agreements to substitute crops for illicit use, gender and ethnic approaches transversal to the six points of the agreement.and the strengthening of mechanisms for the protection and security guarantees for peace signatories and social leaders.
Furthermore, institutions such as the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP), the Search Unit for Persons Reported Missing (UBPD), the Land Restitution Unit (URT) and other state agencies will assume new commitments in implementation.
