The President of the Republic, Gustavo Petro, appointed Hernán Ceballos Gacharná as the new manager of iNNpulsa Colombia, to continue leading the work of the National Government agency to support and strengthen entrepreneurship in all regions of the country.

Ceballos assumes this new role with a vision aimed at consolidating and strengthening technology-based enterprises in Colombia, leveraging the development of the popular economy within the framework of the digital economy, and reinforcing joint work with academia and universities to strengthen their role within the entrepreneurial ecosystem and turn them into strategic allies with a view to promoting entrepreneurship in Colombia.
Ceballos Gacharná is an expert in business issues of competitiveness, productivity, innovation and entrepreneurship. He is a mechanical engineer graduated from the National University of Colombia, with a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Los Andes, and specializations in marketing and economic integration.
He has worked in the public and private sectors, and in academia, accumulating extensive experience in the areas of strategic planning, programming and production, international trade, industrial development, support for MSMEs and entrepreneurship with an emphasis on productivity, competitiveness and innovation. Likewise, she has led local and territorial development policies and projects in various regions of the country.

During his career he has held various positions in the public sector, including: Undersecretary of the District Secretariat of Economic Development, Executive Undersecretary of the District Secretariat of Mobility, Director of MSMEs of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Industry Advisor of the National Planning Department and Advisor Director of the Directorate of National Taxes and Customs DIAN .
He has also worked in the private sector as a business development consultant, and has been a professor and researcher at the National University of Colombia for almost 25 years. Currently, he is president of the Association of Economists of the University of Los Andes (Ecoandinos).

For Ceballos Gacharná, the contribution to the socioeconomic development of the country is fundamental, and for this reason, under his leadership, iNNpulsa will guide its work towards the development of the popular economy, supporting the processes of digital literacy and growth of social entrepreneurship within the digital economy, and with the firm objective of achieving the goals set in the construction of the new National Development Plan of the Government of President Gustavo Petro.
