The National Electoral Council (CNE) of Ecuador officially proclaimed the victory of Daniel Noboa in the second round of the presidential elections last April 13, after concluding the public count of 1 875 Objective Proceedings, they reported international press agencies.

The minutes “do not coincide”, they allege from the opposition
According to the final results, Noboa, of the official National Democratic Action Movement (DNA, Center), won the Presidency with 55.63 % of the votes before its leftist rival, Luisa González, of the Revolution Citizen (RC) Alliance and Total Renewal (Challenge), which obtained 44.37 % of the suffrages.
The results were approved during a National Public Audience of Scrutiny after denying the challenge of the 1 875 minutes of the Electoral Alliance that sponsored González’s candidacy, when alleging alleged numerical inconsistencies or lack of signatures of the vowels of the vote receiving joints.
The Plenary of the CNE dismissed these arguments on Thursday by approving a legal report in which no numerical inconsistencies or signatures were determined in the minutes examined, as announced by the president of the agency, Diana Atamaint.
However, Francisco Serellas, a common procurator of RC -reta, questioned the decision to reject the claims submitted and assured that the minutes “do not coincide,” reported the Press Latina agency.
Being them warned that “the system has the ability to manipulate the scanned act,” he said he seeks to “transparent the elections” and therefore will go to “all the corresponding instances.”

Meanwhile, Daniel Noboa as a tour of seven countries in Europe and the Middle East, including the city of the Vatican, where he will attend the funerals of Pope Francis.
Two days after returning from the United States, the president indicated through an Executive Decree, which will also visit Spain, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Israel, the United Kingdom and France.
