National deputies of the FdT supported the decisions made by Cecilia Moreau

The block of national deputies of the front of all (FdT) expressed this Wednesday its “unconditional support to the decisions made by the president of the body, Cecilia Moreau“, regarding the proceedings on the representatives of the Lower House to the Council of the Magistracy.

“The decisions to appeal the recent ruling of the Federal Contentious Administrative Court No. 11 and to sign a resolution suspending the appointment of members of this House to the Council of the Magistracy are institutionally correct and fully in accordance with the law,” they said from the official bench of the Chamber through a statement.

In that sense they added: “We express our absolute support for the decisions made by the president of the Chamber, Cecilia Moreau, without any sectoral political pettiness.”

“We do so aware that the recent ruling of the judge (Martin) Cormick gave rise to the amparo filed by our bloc last April and that, based on the Resolution of the Presidency, the appointments of our members to the Council of the Magistracy will be suspended”, the FdT deputies remarked.

For those led by German Martinez“urgent begin to order what the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation messed up with the ruling of December 2021, in which he summoned Congress and restored the validity of a repealed law, so Cecilia Moreau’s decisions are in the right direction “.

Based on the foregoing, we believe that There is no reason for the interblock of Together for Change to disqualify the actions of the President of the Chamber and resort to unfounded political criticism, clearly misogynistic,” they closed.

On the other hand, legislators from the Frente de Todos expressed themselves on social networks in support of theto House Speaker in her decision to appeal the ruling of Judge Cormick and put on hold the appointments of Rodolfo Tailhade, Vanesa Siley, Álvaro González and Roxana Reyes.

Through his Twitter account, Paula Penacaparliamentary secretary of the bloc, said: “The president of the Chamber made an even decision with all the designated deputies.”

While Vanessa Siley considered that in her actions Cecilia Moreau “is assisted by the Constitution and the law, institutional history and the full exercise of the division of powers.”

In response to the JxC statement, the deputy Juan Marino tweeted: “The Supreme Court exercised an abuse of power when it seized the presidency of the Council of the Magistracy and when it suspended the assumption of Doñate. JxC wants a criterion for the Senate and another for Deputies, according to their convenience. All our support for Cecilia Moreau”.

The same way, Rodolfo Tahillade expressed: “The President of the Chamber is impeccable in legal and institutional terms. She acts responsibly and balanced in the midst of this madness caused by the Court with the complicity of Together for Change. My total and absolute support for Cecilia Moreau ” .
