The secretary of the Presidency, Álvaro Delgado, received this Monday José Olivera, general secretary of the National Federation of Secondary Education Teachers (FENAPES), and Rafael Michelini, both representing the command for the “Yes” to the repeal of 135 articles of the LUCA.
The meeting, which took place in the Executive Tower, was to coordinate the production of the national radio and television network.
Within this framework, it was decided that the chain for the “Yes” will take place on Tuesday, March 22 and will be a video shot at the PIT-CNT headquarters, which will last between 5 and 7 minutes.
For his part, on Wednesday the 23rd, President Lacalle Pou will give a press conference at 8:30 p.m. in defense of the LUC and will not use the radio and television network.
The 27th of March
The mandatory referendum will be held on Sunday, March 27. In the voting commissions there will be two ballots, a pink one for the “Yes” to repeal 135 articles of the LUC and another light blue for the “No” to the repeal.
The blank vote (empty envelope) will also be admitted, which will be computed for the “No”, and the annulled vote (more than two ballots together for any of the options, or torn ballots) that will not be counted.
