The National Assembly will begin the process of renewal of the CNE authorities, as it became known through the publication of the agenda that will be discussed during Thursday’s session in the protocol chamber.
In point number two to be discussed of the proposal for the agenda of the ordinary session called for this Thursday, June 15, it reads: “acceptance of the resignation of the Principal and Alternate Rectors of the National Electoral Council and designation of the Preliminary Commission of the Electoral Nominations Committee in accordance with the provisions of article 295 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in accordance with articles 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 of the Organic Law of Electoral Power .
This session will also address an agreement to support the release of diplomat Alex Saab and the Law for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities.
