The National Assembly rejected the announcement of the United States Government on the payment of a reward of 50 million dollars to those who lead to the capture of Nicolás Maduro.
Jorge Rodríguez, president of Parliament, read a statement in the name of the National Assembly, in which “denounces the new attempts of American imperialism for repeating old formulas of rude interference and useless threats to destabilize peace, tranquility and consolidation of the prosperity of the entire Venezuelan homeland.”
The deputy said that the announcement of the United States Prosecutor’s Office is a “desperate”, “illegal” and “no ninún type of real grip” against Nicolás Maduro and the Venezuelan population.
«These operations do not seek another purpose that again encourages extremist groups in the country and the region to resume the violence that has been defeated throughout the line by our government and people. Venezuela is today the most sure country and with the economy that has grown the most in the continent, ”he said.
This Friday, Nicolás Maduro accused the United States government of being involved in an attempt to attack with explosives, dismantled over the weekend in a square of Caracas.

Chancellery appreciates solidarity
From his account on Telegram, Foreign Minister Yván Gil thanked the solidarity of Cuba, Nicaragua and Iran, whose leaders expressed their rejection of the decision announced by the Government of Donald Trump.
Gil celebrated the pronouncement Miguel Díaz-Canel, who said in the same social network that the United States government is “presented as ‘global judge’ to justify its illegal and unilateral measures” against Venezuela. Along the same lines, Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo expressed that “no empire bends us.”
The countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) also rejected the accusations of the United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, who announced the reward and accused Maduro of using “foreign terrorist organizations such as Sinaloa and the Suns poster to introduce lethal drugs and violence” in the North American country.
