Narvarte case: seven years later, they remember victims of multi-homicide in CDMX

“1,720 days this candle with an undulating flame has remained lit, which summons other shadows that come to accompany me in the absence of your shadow,” recited Mirtha Luz Pérez Robledo, mother of Nadia Vera, who was in apartment 402 and was a of victims of torture and murder.

According to the families, there is a debt regarding the truth in the Narvarte Case because, despite the fact that three people have been detained and two of them have already been sentenced, the investigation by the Attorney General of Mexico City did not has not revealed the motive for the crime or who the intellectual authors are.

One of the lines of investigation that the families have asked to be investigated is the possibility that the events are related to Javier Duarte, governor of Veracruz: they recalled that Rubén and Nadia decided to leave the state for Mexico City in the face of alleged threats in against him by officials and people related to said government.
