According to the president, Super 95 gasoline will increase by 3 pesos per liter, and 50 S diesel will rise by 5 pesos.
In statements to the press, the president said that a “significant effort” was made so that the fuel adjustment was lower than that recommended by the Energy and Water Regulatory Unit (URSEA) through its analysis of Import Parity Prices. which takes as reference the cost of a barrel of oil for 30 days.
The URSEA had proposed an increase of 7.54 pesos in the case of gasoline and 15.2 pesos in the case of diesel.

On the other hand, Lacalle ruled out the possibility of importing fuel from Argentina.
In the last hours, Lacalle met with his productive cabinet to analyze the adjustment in the price of fuels, and also to try to cushion the rise in the prices of the food basket.
