Indeed, during the beginning of the plenary session of the Congress, Hernando Guerra stated that he was with his family on vacation and that he held the session on the beach because in Parliament they do not allow “managing agendas.”
“Like many people, I looked for a space to be with my family. That space in our functions is very difficult or almost impossible to find. The work in commissions extends beyond what was planned and the situation does not allow us to manage our agendas as I have always done in my life, ”he said.

In that sense, the fujimorista legislator pointed out that “he made a mistake” and justified his trip to be with his daughter. Likewise, reiterated his apologies to his colleagues parliamentarians and invited the Ethics Commission to see his case.
“I made a tremendous mistake, the mistake of wanting to do everything. I wanted to be with my daughter who I see very little since she traveled, almost a child, to study abroad, attend to my issues as a spokesperson, and fulfill my duties as congressmen, but I was wrong. One cannot do everything at once and that is why I apologize to you, my colleagues and to all Peruvians”, she expressed.

at another time, Nano Guerra stressed that he used the technology thinking that it would help him “like millions of people during the pandemic to work with the same quality or better than before.”
“Technology allows us to save distances, time and I thought we could maintain our family ties. We can see this as an opportunity,” she added.
