“Edmundo González Urrutia is a shameful and sad case. He has shown that he is a pathological liar and also a person with such great weakness that he cannot be considered a leader of anything at any time,” said the Vice President of Communication and Culture and Minister for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez.
During the Cable a Tierra program, broadcast on VTV Radio, dial 99.5 FM, the Minister highlighted that González Urrutia released the letter where he claimed that he was coerced into leaving Venezuela, while acknowledging the victory of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in the last election on July 28.
“You lied and by lying you are harming third parties, such as the Government of Spain, which is granting you asylum by sending you on a plane, which is treating you as international laws say, with dignity and political asylum,” said Minister Ñáñez.
It is worth noting that on September 19, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, showed with audios in a press conference, the commitment made by González Urrutia not to form a supposed government from abroad.
New world is born with the BRICS
On the other hand, the Vice President of Communication pointed out that the failure of the Venezuelan extreme right to recognize the June 28 elections is aimed at preventing the Bolivarian nation from continuing its economic growth through its future incorporation into the BRICS bloc.
“Let us not be confused, this is not against Venezuela, against President Nicolás Maduro, it is not even against Bolivarian socialism, this is a movement, a shake-up of the planet, facing this new world that is emerging, which is the BRICS,” he stressed.
He also stressed that, in the face of the emerging alternative to capitalism with greater economic strength, the BRICS and its member countries are moving forward in a new stage of the global economy and are not aligning themselves with the decisions of the West.
