This Saturday the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reported on the death of Nancy Colmenares, who was the first wife of Commander Hugo Chávez.
“While we were meeting with President Nicolás Maduro, evaluating the issue of party structures, we received the unfortunate news of the physical departure of comrade Nancy Colmenares, who was the first wife of our Comandante Chávez and who accompanied him in those early moments. and always,” he said during his speech at the second plenary session of the red awning held in Caracas.
Cabello sent condolences to family and friends of the mother of Rosa Virginia, María Gabriela and Hugo, all children conceived from the union that Nancy Colmenares had with Hugo Chávez until the 1990s.
Without providing further details, Diosdado Cabello pointed out that Colmenares “battled for years against this disease.”
