The neighborhoods of Caracas and throughout the country join to demand from the American empire to respect President Nicolás Maduro and the sovereignty of Venezuela.
This was stated by Nahum Fernández, vice president of Movements and events of the PSUV, During popular mobilization carried out in the Venezuelan capital.
Fernández denounced that he is being attentive against the principles of democracy and self -determination of peoples, and that the recent accusations made by the US prosecutor Pamela Bondi constitute a “smoke curtain” to hide the human rights violations that the United States commits against Venezuelan migrants.
In addition, he stressed that the attempts of destabilization and violence promoted by sectors of the extreme right will continue to fail, thanks to the unity of the people and their firm support to the constitutional president. The march, starring young people, social movements and organized communities, reaffirmed the commitment to peace, institutionality and the sovereign course of the country.
They will fail again
Fernández reiterated that attempts to destabilize and violence by the extreme right, against the Venezuelan people and the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, will continue to fail.
He also reiterated that the accusations made by the US attorney general, Pam Bondi, constitute a smoke curtain to hide the serious violations of rights that the American nation continues to commit against Venezuelan migrants.
Fernández said that the same extreme right “seeks financing of drug traffickers, with the aim of breaking the peace of the Venezuelan people.”
