In Easter, We remember the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus. From Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, we meditate on the most important moments in the life of Jesus, our savior.
May neither sadness nor joy prevent you from looking at Jesus this Holy Week. Exercise your gaze to discover Jesus who lives in you.
Let him enter with his sweetness, comfort, encouragement and love, inside you, in your heart, where He calls you. Remember that you are not before anyone, admire the humanity of Christ, his beauty, his greatness. If you are sad or suffer for any reason, look at him on the cross, from there he will come to comfort you, imagine that he forgets his pain to take away yours. If you are happy, look at him resurrected, and enjoy the joy, the joy of knowing he is alive.looking at you, loving you
Let yourself be conquered by the look of Jesus, who teaches you, heals you, saves you. Follow the path of his passion, death and resurrection, meditating and praying every day. It will be a time of recollection. Climb Calvary, looking at the pain of Jesus, on his cross he leaves all suffering and with the joy of his resurrection he goes down to the plain of daily life with the risen Christ who walks with you, see how He looks, love as He loves .
Today Holy Wednesday, it is time to examine yourself and confess all your faults. Remember Judas who betrayed Jesus and ask yourself, honestly: In what areas of your life do you betray Jesus? At the center of the Holy Week commemorations is the Pascual Triduum that leads us from the sorrows and pains of these days to the joys and glories of Resurrection Sunday.
Reflect and pray in the Pascual Triduo
Holy Thursday: The washing of feet. Read John 13:1-17. How can I be a servant to others, as Jesus was? Lord Jesus, give me love and patience to serve others, especially those most in need.
Good Friday: The cross. Read John 19:16-37. What does Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross mean to me? Lord Jesus, I thank you for your unconditional love and your dedication.
Holy Saturday: The light. Read Matthew 27:62-66. How to wait on God in moments of darkness? Lord Jesus, in moments of despair remind me that you are my refuge and my strength.
Resurrection Sunday: The light of the resurrection. Read John 20:1-18. How to live in the light of the resurrection? Lord Jesus, may all humanity live in the light of your resurrection, trusting in your love and your power. Looking with your eyes, loving with your heart.
