"My high school, my safe zone" serves more than 12 thousand students in the country

The Plan «My high school, my safe zone It benefits more than 12 thousand students from all over Venezuela to maintain peace in educational institutions and prevent any incident that jeopardizes the good relations that should prevail among the Venezuelan student population.

Recently, the General Director of Crime Prevention, Lusmialit Perdomo, chaired a conference on this initiative at the Teresa Carreño Educational Unit of the Santa Rosalía parish in Caracas. Perdomo characterized the Plan as a joint effort between the office of the Ministry of Popular Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace and the Ministry of Popular Power for Education.

He added that both security bodies and preventive institutions provide their support to this work, to guarantee that educational centers remain safe places that facilitate 100% schooling for the nation’s children and adolescents, to comply with the sacred right to education enshrined in the Magna Carta.

“Children and adolescents are a priority for the Bolivarian Government, led by President Nicolás Maduro,” highlighted Perdomo, in the company of the Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro, the general secretary of Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV), Grecia Colmenares; and the president of the Great Young Venezuela Mission, Génesis Garvette.
