This Tuesday the Minister of Housing and Territorial Planning (MVOT), Irene Moreirawill appear in the department of Black river to inaugurate new homes in different cities.
The opening ceremony will begin around 11 am in a housing complex located on 18 de Julio and Argentina, in Fray Bentos. In this case, it is about 18 homes acquired by families in the purchase and rent with option to purchase modality.
In the afternoon, around 3 pm, Moreira will travel to the town of Young to visit the complex in Piedras and Larrañaga. There, another 11 homes will be inaugurated under the same purchase and lease with option to purchase modality.
As detailed by MVOT, these homes are delivered to families who signed up for open calls between December 2021 and March 2022. They also highlight that through this plan the registration requirements are made more flexible (to the call) and not It requires having minors or people with disabilities in charge.
The statement highlights that the complexes had a cost of almost 150 million pesos that includes the construction of the houses and the parking lots.
Finally, the text recalls that calls for the same plan are currently in force in the departments of Montevideo and San José.
