With more than 30 free cultural activities until next Saturday, October 29, the eighth version of the Arts Forum 2022an event that will deliver to the public a complete billboard of activities related to music, dance and cinema, as well as talks, shows, launches and workshops for all ages.
The event, organized by the Direction of Artistic Creation of the University of Chilewill have different activities both virtual and face-to-face, where a digital performance from the intersection of virtual reality and livecoding, the exhibition of the short film “Notes from a blind city” of Josefa Ruiz and Rebeca Silvain addition to a video dance exhibition held in the desert of Atacama.
In this line, the “Pocket Movie Workshop (you have a movie in your pocket and you didn’t know it)”, a three-day activity on the experience of cinematographic creation through observation and work with materials from everyday life. The workshop is aimed at young people in secondary education who have a phone with saved images and an editing program of any kind (YouCut, InShot, CapCutetc.)
The 2022 edition of the Forum for the Arts will also feature the presentation of the book “Thinking from art” of the French philosopher, Francois Federer, who recently passed away in Paris. The text, translated by the academic of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities, Jorge Acevedo-Warwill be officially published in the literature market at the end of the year.
