The Vice President of Nicaragua, Rosario Murillo, applauded her speech of no “foreign intervention”, read by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua, Denis Moncada, during her speech at the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly that took place celebrate in New York.
In her midday speech through her propaganda media, the spokeswoman for the Ortega regime pointed out that Nicaragua “demands respect, demands recognition of the human dignity of all and the rights of all.”

The first lady asserted that her government “proposes more unity among peoples to continue fighting for the respect we deserve; for the recollection that we deserve, for the right that we have and that we must assert”.
Murillo insisted that his regime has the right to “live in peace and quiet (…) We have the right to work, to study, to those that are essential aspects of life.”
Upset about sanctions against her regime
In a clear attack against the United States and the international community, which have condemned the repression against Nicaraguans, the deputy dictator lashed out, pointing out that her dictatorship does not accept “that the neo-colonialist empires, the fascists, try to impose on us what they call sanctions, which are nothing more than assaults; the continuity of a policy of aggression with which they intend to take over the world».
“We cannot accept it out of an elementary sense of self-esteem, self-respect and rights to our sovereignty and independence; our cultural models, our natural heritage », he remarked.
Omitting the numerous confiscations that Ortega has made against private property belonging to the media and non-governmental associations, the deputy president accused the “imperialist” countries of looting.
«They cannot continue looting us, they cannot continue usurping the voice of the people. The peoples know how to fight to win, and we are being the voice of those struggles in these spaces of international organizations that cannot be subject to the designs of any of any imperialist power”, he remarked.

He also said that his dictatorship is called to assert its claims, because they cannot continue “being ignored or buried under heaps of mountains of egomania and indifference.”
In his same speech, Murillo affirmed that “the powers” have sought ways to maintain their dominance at the expense of “hunger, unhealthiness, climatic destruction, war and all the obscurities derived from hatred.”
Call America a hypocrite.
“It is time to say enough and reveal ourselves and continue revealing ourselves against the innate evil of capitalism that suffocates the majority and brutally enriches a few,” emphasized the coordinator of the Communication and Citizenship Council.
As for the US government, Rosario Murillo exclaimed that it is time to “say enough to the hypocritical imperialism that politicizes, falsifies and denigrates the human rights that they themselves violate and deny every day.”
“Imperialism and its anti-life coercive actions in all spheres by itself and for itself, contrary to international law.” He also called on his allied countries to “stop the invasions, aggressions and occupations of so many territories that are done for the glory of God…”, however he avoided the Russian invasion of Ukraine, rather he supported it.
