The words of the first lady also come in a context of siege, persecution against the Catholic Church of Nicaragua, prohibition of religious demonstrations, in addition to the imprisonment of 12 priests and the exile of others.

“Today we sing to Mary, thanking her for this permanent interception with her son, Christ Jesus so that peace and goodness may flourish more and more in Nicaragua,” said the deputy dictator.

He added that this day is “of songs and flowers to the queen of peace, to the most holy mother who wraps us in her mantle and helps us to walk in harmony, strengthening that peace and that sense, those values ​​of family, of community ».

In the six minutes of her speech through her propaganda media, Murillo mentioned a series of activities that according to her are to “honor our mother María.”

“On Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez we celebrate big days, glorious days, days that fill us all, that strengthen us all. That spirit of joy and progress; We always go further,” said the spokeswoman for the Ortega regime.

The coordinator of the Council of Communication and Citizenship of the Nicaraguan dictatorship assured that her regime “continues to advance firmly always with María.”
