Nicaragua’s vice-dictator, Rosario Murillo, vociferously railed against Catholic priests and opponents who have been banished or forced into exile, calling them “the remains of history,” satanists and demons, after learning of the report by the UN Group of Experts on Human Rights (GHREN) that names Murillo herself and Daniel Ortega as the main instigators of hatred against religion and perpetrators of crimes against humanity against the church.
In his daily monologue on July 25, through his propaganda media, Murillo reacted by virulently attacking those he called satanic, demonic and diabolical people who “have no place in Nicaragua,” in direct allusion to the Catholic religious and opposition members who have been banished, denationalized, confiscated or forced into exile.
In her hate speech against religious people and those who oppose her politically, the vice-dictator declared herself predestined by God to, according to her, “defeat and continue to defeat” those who have opposed her dictatorship.
In a contradiction of concepts that only denote her hatred, the government spokesperson assured that her government triumphs “based on peace, on harmony, on affection, on the brotherhood that as good Christians we promote every day.”

And then he went on to attack, saying that “others are filled with hate, others are those who have no place in this Christian homeland, others are those who do not belong to these paths because they do not want to belong to paths of good, because the agendas that inspire them, that they create, and that they develop are agendas of hate, of evil, of malignancy.”
Murillo’s words seek to undermine the GHREN report, published this week, which points to the dictatorial couple as the main instigators of hatred and violence against Christian institutions.
The report details the crimes committed by the dictatorship against Christianity in Nicaragua and directly states that the main perpetrators of crimes against humanity against religion are “the president and vice president” of Nicaragua.
For the vice-dictator, these accusations are the result of what she called “appalling and shameful statements,” referring to the testimonies and complaints about cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment made by released political and religious prisoners whom she accused of designing and executing “diabolical agendas.”

“There is no room for hatred here, here it’s all about satanists and Satan, back, back, back,” said the second in command of the dictatorship, as if she were invoking her esoteric spirits.
Murillo praised the crimes committed by his regime by stating that they have defeated their adversaries “with brotherhood, a sense of family and community, we have defeated them as we have defeated hatred, evil, malignancy, we have defeated them above all always thinking that here, first of all, nobody gives up because we have the strength that God gives us,” without saying, of course, that his way of winning has been with bullets and killing whoever opposes him.
«In that sense of Christian, socialist and supportive community, we have defeated them, and we continue to defeat (the) waste of history. We are making history, others are waste of history, garbage, who have no place here, because with hate never again, and for that reason we are so grateful to the God of all triumphs because he has given us the strength, the strength of spirit to overcome evil and put good in place,» said Murillo, declaring herself predestined to kill, imprison, exile and confiscate Nicaraguans in the name of God.
To reinforce his supposed divine predestination and as the most crude example of contradiction, Murillo said that “there are those who serve the devil and there are those who walk with God ahead, God who commands us, Christ Jesus who commands us to love one another as neighbors.”
The peace and love for one’s neighbor that Murillo speaks of has left more than 355 opponents killed and several thousand wounded at the hands of the police and paramilitary forces subordinated to the FSLN, in addition to tens of thousands of exiles, more than 300 denationalized, confiscations, and open war against the Christian Church.
