Murillo assumes the song "Soberanía", with which he attacks the international community, as a second Nicaraguan anthem

In commemoration of the 104th anniversary of the creation of the Nicaraguan National Anthem, Rosario Murillo, spokesperson for the Ortega regime, used it to attack the United States Government and the international community.

«The National Anthem was sung for the first time on Monday, December 16, 1918 (…) It was written about work and peace, and we say it now with pride, this is important to our Nicaragua of peace, and we say: “Hail! to you Nicaragua on your soil! The voice of the cannon no longer roars. Nor is your glorious bicolor banner stained with brother’s blood (…)”, said the vice president.

The first lady recalled the lyrics of the song “Sovereignty,” music that honors her regime and rants directly against the United States.

He emphasized that the lyrics are “also a hymn” to Nicaragua. “On June 23 of last year, the lyrics of the song Soberanía were published (…) Wonderful description, wonderful song to our anthem,” he said.

«Sing to our sovereignty, to our dignity, to our honor, to our glory and to so many victories, since we have been defending our sovereignty; defending the blessed and always free homeland,” said the deputy dictator.

Putting aside the Nicaraguan national anthem and putting his song of offense to the international community above it, Murillo affirmed that since last year “Soberanía” has become a hymn that describes “the strength of his regime.”

Warns “non-interference”

Murillo recited the lyrics of his song: «Sovereignty in my land was written with large letters and not with ink or blood throughout history and now it comes to my memory, what the greatest hero of the Segovias said to you, We do not discuss this, we just defend them ».

Shouting out the demand she has made since her regime has been in power, Ortega’s spokeswoman used the song to once again threaten all diplomats who dare criticize her repression against Nicaraguans and the Catholic Church.

«Here all the countries have their ambassadors and all these gentlemen must respect diplomacy, respect our flag, but there is one —pointing to the United States— who with his arrogance opens up in the corridors beyond the White House and is That if he wants to speak, he should remove his investiture and he will see that his stay on this earth will not last long, “he said in a threatening tone, taking up another part of his song, which has become repetitive in his party acts.

“(…) If any diplomat wants to speak on Wednesday, let them do it outside, where they can say what they want, but if they are in our land who respect our blue and white flag that has no star (…),” Murillo continued.

“They will reinstall” the national stadium

Rosario Murillo also used her 22-minute monologue to announce that this Friday afternoon, her dictatorship will officially change the name of the National Stadium, which for more than five years has been called Denis Martínez, in honor of the living legend of Nicaragua and of major league baseball.

“This afternoon the reinstallation of the National Stadium will be taking place, reinstallation with the name that best defines our nationality and our people: National Sovereignty Stadium,” he stressed.

“We are grateful to God because in this sovereign town peace shines beautiful, peace shines beautiful in our skies and on our soil and the voice of the cannon no longer roars and our glorious two-color banner does not stain the blood of our brother,” stressed the second in command of the Nicaraguan government, accused of crimes against humanity and of being responsible for more than 300 murders in the social protests of 2018.
