An official of the Carabobo state police was killed by multiple shots, according to versions of the security agency.
In this case, the victim is identified as Edgar Omar Olivar Villorín (43), who had the rank of Deputy Commissioner. The uniformed man was attacked on Wednesday night in front of the Gran Prix service station located on the Mariara-Maracay national highway, bordering Aragua and Carabobo.
Police agents took Edgar Omar to the Mariara hospital where he was admitted without vital signs. He had gunshot wounds to the face, neck, stomach and chest, according to sources.
