A 30-year-old bricklayer was shot three times in Calle La Escalera, San Agustín del Sur, Caracas, according to family members.
The victim is Luis José Arismendi (30), whose body was found last Monday in the aforementioned area of the capital.
A relative went to the Bello Monte morgue this Wednesday to remove the body and commented that from his house he heard detonations just when Luis José went to work.

In another event, the Cicpc reported that one of the alleged murderers of Yhosel Antonio Jiménez (25) was captured, a homicide that occurred on April 9 in the 25 de Marzo sector, Ciudad Guayana (Bolívar).
The detainee is registered as Jesús Rafael Bermúdez Rodríguez (35), who along with another subject broke into Yhosel’s house and riddled him with firearms until he was left to die.
According to what was investigated by the scientific police, Yhosel was dedicated to collecting vaccines from merchants in the San Félix market (Bolívar).
But his attackers wanted to have control of that money from extortion, an approach that Yhosel opposed, according to the version.
