“Today we have a fighter who is ready for the continuity of the government of Oaxaca,” said Murat, who paused his government activities while hours before he warned the population about the passage of the tropical storm “Ágatha” to a category 1 hurricane.
“President, president, president!” shouted some spectators at the rally.
I am convinced that it is not governed from afar, we are clear that the present and the future of Oaxaca are built hand in hand, as a team, for this reason, today we are going with @_AvilesAlvarez for governor! pic.twitter.com/ltV6KFqxPX

For its part, ‘Tripe A’ spoke out in favor of a future with Murat as the PRI’s candidate for the presidency in the 2024 elections.
“We have already applauded the future we want for the first PRI member and that is how it will be with the support of all the militancy, Alejandro,” he said.
The candidate for governor of Oaxaca promised consensus with the teachers, in an entity where intermittent conflicts with organizations such as the National Coordinator of Education Workers (CNTE) have been experienced for 18 years.
“I am going to govern in consensus with the Oaxacan teachers, because the Oaxacan teachers are the basis of education, governance and social peace in Oaxaca,” he said.
Avilés clarified that he will not see the federal government, headed by Morena, as an enemy but as an ally of Oaxaca and affirmed that during the campaign people expressed their support for President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and for him as a PRI candidate.
“The government of the Republic is neither an enemy nor an adversary; is a strategic ally for the development of Oaxaca.
“They always said it in all corners of the state: Mexico with Andrés, Oaxaca with Avilés,” he assured.
