The councilors of the Municipal Council of Caracas held a special session to commemorate Teacher’s Day, an initiative that seeks to recognize the tireless work of educators in training children and young people in Venezuela.
This was reported by the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernandezthrough the publication of a video on the social network Twitter @Nahumjfernandez, in which he expressed: “The transformation of the educational model was a challenge, but thanks to Commander Hugo Chávez, we achieved a quality system under the principles and ideals of Bolivar”.
Likewise, he maintained that thanks to the efforts of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the aforementioned vocation continues to be strengthened.

Present at the meeting were the mayoress of the Libertador de Caracas municipality, A/J Carmen Melendez, and deputies of the National Assembly (AN) who have a long political career supporting the country’s teachers’ union.
