Mundo do Circo SP has a special program in honor of women during the month of March. The cultural space dedicated to circus arts is located in Parque da Juventude, in the north of São Paulo. From Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 am to 6 pm, the space hosts artistic interventions with clowns, acrobats, jugglers and other artists.
This Saturday (4th), at 5 pm, Império Circus presents the event Here to Sadness Pula de Alegria, with activities such as hula hoop, balancing, clowns, archery, contortionism, lyre and juggling with geometric shapes.
On Sunday (5), the program will feature circus interventions by the group Palhaços Sem Fronteiras, from 12:00 to 18:00, with juggling and clown musicians.
On the 12th, there will be a presentation by Coletivo Mariás, a group that researches different languages from a feminine perspective. The show Cálice, which will be staged by the group, involves the circus, dance and music.
On the 11th, there will be a meeting of artists to study the hand-to-hand acrobatic technique.
The public can also visit the exhibition with popular toys, carved dolls, models and interactive pieces. It is possible to play with the works and place the acrobat dolls to move in space.
Mundo do Circo SP is a program of the government of São Paulo, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, managed and produced by Amigos da Arte.
