The Congressman Alejandro Muñante, member of Popular Renovationreported through his Twitter account that last Monday, May 16, he had met with the self-styled “Association for the Rights of Man of Peru” to discuss “his concern about the lack of impartiality that has been imparted in the courts due to Law 30364″. The parliamentarian refers, thus, to the rule promoted by the State to prevent, punish and eradicate violence against women and members of the family group.
In the published publication, one of the photographs shows Muñante together with seven members of a group without official information on the web or profiles that detail their objectives and structures. The message was also accompanied by the hashtags #LaViolenciaNoHagenero and #EnfoqueDeFamilia.

“A law that should promote family integrity, but is used ideologically to promote division to the detriment of men”, were the macho statements of the congressman from the light blue bench. Likewise, he classified as “indoctrination” teachings in favor of equality and that “training courses” were used for this in the different spaces of the Government.
However, Peru registers high rates of gender violence: 2021 ended with 146 victims of femicide; in 52% of the cases, the femicides were the victim’s partner or ex-partner.
Hours later, Muñante retweeted a video of Rafael Lopez Aliaga in which you can see some schoolgirls wearing green polo shirts and cheering under the guidance of a teacher. The description of this publication is as follows: “Political indoctrination from school, without parental authorization. This is an abuse against Peruvian families.”
