The acquisition of the fiduciary business was advised by legal offices such as White & Case, Galicia and Lawyers, Sidley Austin and Ernst & Young, among others.
The business transfer will be carried out expedited, orderly and transparently, Multiva said, led by Tamara Caballero.
“During this transition stage, strict regulatory and operational controls will be applied, with the permanent accompaniment of the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), as well as all the corresponding national financial authorities, with the aim of fully protecting the interests of customers and beneficiaries,” he added.
Multiva stressed that he has kept the US regulatory instances informed at all times on the development of this transaction.
“To do this, it has the support of international specialized advisors – among them Sidley Austin – to ensure full compliance with the applicable regulations in the United States,” he said.
