The President of Panama, José Raúl Mulino, presented the winner’s cup to Eric Antonio Del Valle, owner of the horse Eagle In Love, which under the reins of jockey Omar Hernández won the 95th edition of the President of the Republic Classic.
Mulino congratulated the winners and sent his regards to the equestrian fans and the people of Panama.
Prior to the race, which took place at the Hipódromo Presidente Remón, the president gave gifts to the 16 jockeys who competed in the classic.
Likewise, the First Lady of the Republic, Maricel de Mulino, received recognition from the young apprentices of the Horse Riding Academy.
President Mulino was accompanied by ministers from his cabinet.
