Mulino meets with French deputies reiterates Panamanian position against European Union tax list

The president of Panama, José Raúl Mulino, held a working meeting with the Foreign Relations Commission of the National Assembly of France to bring closer positions between both Nations on international issues.

On the Panamanian side, Mulino reiterated before the group of French deputies the position that it is unfair that Panama is included in the tax list of the European Union.

Environmental and safety issues were also addressed at the meeting. Mulino was accompanied by the Chancellor, Javier Martínez-Acha; the designated ambassador to France, Miguel Antonio Bernal; the General Director of Revenue, Camilo Valdéz.

On the French side, the president of the Foreign Relations Commission of the National Assembly, Bruno Fuchs, participated; accompanied by deputies Benoit Onambele, Sarah El Hairy, and Kim Younes.
