The ex-president José Mujica referred to the discussion on the relationship between Uruguay and Brazil within Mercosuras a result of this Wednesday President Lula da Silva commented that they seemed “more than fair” the Luis Lacalle Pou’s claims to “open up to the world”.

Finally, Mujica recalled that “for many years” he has maintained a bond of friendship with Lula and pointed out that he is his “friend when he triumphs, but also in defeat.”
“I always had tremendous confidence, I know the commitment he has,” he concluded.
