Mucuchíes dogs are one step away from being recognized as an international breed

The Mucuchíes dogs, originally from Venezuela, are one step away from being registered as an international breed, as reported by the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, after their participation in the International Dog Show for All Breeds, which was held at the Caracas Military Circle.

On his Telegram channel, he expressed that “of 364 races in the world, ours will soon be added, the first pure Venezuelan race, that of the Nevado del Padre Simón Bolívar.” “We are going to achieve it.”

Likewise, Rodríguez thanked the international judges and participants who attended this activity, who made a human effort to develop this activity that also had the presence of the Nevado Mission.

The Mucuchíes canine lineage was declared the National Dog of Venezuela on August 31, 1964, in tribute to the specimen “Nevado”, who accompanied Simón Bolívar during several military campaigns and lost his life in one of the combats of the War of Independence.
