The execution in activities and investments of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) in the month of November it reached S/ 970.68 million, according to Minister Richard Tineo.
In addition, he pointed out that this execution contributes to the objective of reducing the gaps in road, airport, port, railway and telecommunications infrastructure and contributing to the reactivation of the economy,
It should be noted that, from January to November of this year, the accumulated execution of activities and investments in the transport and communications sector amounts to S/ 9,258.43 million. Compared to November, the greatest advance in execution was registered in investments.

The scheduled goal of the transport and communications sector for this item was to execute S/ 635.49 million, however, thanks to the impulse of the current management, an investment execution of S/ 638.07 million was achieved, which represents an advance of 100.4%.
In this execution corresponding to the month of November, the following investments stood out: transfer by concurrent control of Line 2 of the Lima Metro and airport concessions, payment for the execution of the Chinchero Airport and payment for the execution of road concession works.
In addition to this, the payment of the pre-investment studies for the Lima–Ica Railway and the payment for the acquisition of properties for the Jauja Airport and Peripheral Road Ring.
Likewise, there were advances in national roads such as the rehabilitation and improvement of the Lima-Canta-La Viuda-Unish highway, improvement of the Oyón-Ambo highway and improvement of the Santa María-Santa Teresa-Machu Picchu Hydroelectric Bridge highway.
Similarly, the improvement of the Huánuco-Conococha highway, sector: Huánuco-La Unión- Huallanca, PE-3N route and improvement of the Boca del Río-Tacna highway.
There were also advances in works on departmental and neighborhood roads such as the improvement of the Cusco-Madre de Dios road corridor, creation of the Kutuctay bridge and accesses, improvement of the Apurímac road corridor and improvement of the Tumbes road corridor.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the main advances in the regional Broadband projects to provide Internet service were Cajamarca, San Martín, Napo-Putumayo and Áncash.
