MSF suspends its work in several areas of Lebanon due to Israeli bombings

The NGO Doctors Without Borders (MSF) ha suspended his job this Monday in several areas of Lebanon due to the bombings perpetrated by Israel against the entire countryrising tension in the Middle East.

“Healthcare facilities in Lebanon have been forced to close their doors as Israeli bombing intensifies. Our teams are working to provide assistance but have had to suspend activities in some areas,” the organization said in a message released through the social network X.

The decision has taken place in the midst of clashes that have been going on for more than a year between Israel and the Lebanese militia party. Hezbollahwhich have increased in recent weeks, especially after the start of the Israeli invasion of Lebanese territory in early October.

Israel describes its invasion as a “selective and limited” operation against “terrorist targets and infrastructure” Hezbollah. The offensive was launched after weeks of intensified attacks and has been parallel to an increase in bombings against the capital, Beirut, and other areas of the country.
