The National Council of Attorneys General of the Public Ministry of the States and the Union (CNPG) meets, between the 27th and 29th of October, in Rio de Janeiro to discuss the MP’s actions in the face of global transformations. The meeting highlights the priority of promoting the development of innovative strategies for the Public Ministry, aligned with global and technological transformations, with the objective of guaranteeing the effectiveness of Justice and the benefit to society.

In relation to digital challenges, there will be discussions on topics such as investigation tools, prevention and repression of cybercrime and organized crime in the digital era, artificial intelligence and data protection.

In relation to climate change, debates should revolve around issues such as climate litigation, prevention, mitigation, preparation and response to disasters, the experience of Rio Grande do Sul.
