MP will request coercion against Onguito's cousin who took responsibility for the accident

The Public ministry will request preventive detention against Erick Rafel Peralta Ortega, cousin of the urban music exponent wa onguitounder charges of perjury and complicity, for having taken responsibility for the traffic accident where a person died.

Peralta had assumed before the authorities that he was the one driving the black Mercedes Benz jeep with which the motorcyclist was run over. Elma Avener the early morning of October 29, an event that caused his death.

Both the urban artist Onguito, whose measurement bill was forwarded for next Wednesday, December 7, and Peralta Ortega, face charges for death of a person, speeding driving, escape from the scene of the crime.

Likewise, they are accused of supplying false information to hide accidents, incurring in complicity.

Said illegal acts violate articles 300 (numeral 3), 303 (numeral 5), 304 (numeral 2), 306 (paragraph), 308, 309 and 310 of Law 63-17, on Mobility, Transportation and Road Safety of the Dominican Republic , as well as article 361 (numeral 4, letter E), of the Dominican Penal Code, and 309 of Law 63-17.
