Argentina, earlier, accused the Venezuelan government of “lying” and asserted that Nahuel Gallo entered the country legally.
The attorney general, Tarek William Saab, issued a new statement on the afternoon of this Friday, December 27, in which he reported the inclusion of the Minister of Security of Argentina, Patricia Bullrich, and the chancellor of that country, Gerardo Werthein, in the investigations. that the Public Ministry advances on the case of gendarme Nahuel Gallo, arrested at the beginning of December in Táchira and linked to alleged terrorist acts.
Saab, in the text published in the Public Ministry (MP) account in instagraminsisted that Gallo is being subjected to criminal proceedings because there is “evidence that implicates him in serious acts that threaten the security of the nation.”
In that sense, he emphasized that, due to the “notoriety” that the Argentine authorities – among them Bullrich and Werthein – have given, it is evident that it has a “direct relationship” with the events that are being investigated in Venezuela and that, in addition, they reveal that The minister’s name appears in the “chain of command” of a “group of terrorists” sent from Argentina.

“The erratic behavior of the Argentine government until now only demonstrates its connection with this aggression against Venezuela that was deactivated,” Saab wrote and said that this sets a “serious precedent” in the region, just as he recalled that in March the head of the office of Security had assured that it would send gendarmes to the country.
EarlierJavier Milei’s government accused the Venezuelan government, specifically Tarek William Saab, of “lying” and asserted that the gendarme went from “being illegally kidnapped to being recognized.”
The Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, responded to the accusations of the Venezuelan prosecutor. “Tarek’s first lie, he says that it is reported that he has been detained while trying to enter irregularly, but Gallo entered with all the legal papers, he did all the procedures in the gendarmerie and in Venezuela until he paid the fees that had to be paid, his entry was legal “What was not legal was the way they kidnapped him at the border.”
Bullrich also rejected the alleged destabilizing plan referred to by Saab. “Second (lie), it says that Gallo hid the true criminal plan under the guise of a sentimental visit. “It’s a lie, Gallo has his girlfriend and his son at the time when he has a license in the gendarmerie, he had a round trip ticket, the address where he was going to stay and he was carrying gifts for his son who he needed to see.”
For his part, the Argentine Foreign Minister, Gerardo Werthein, who was with Bullrich at the press conference, assured that they will continue “working and hoping to bring Nahuel home as soon as possible, so somehow this illegitimacy has to end.” . “It is incredible that a country in which there is no human right in force, where it is public and notorious, and international organizations have verified that all this is being exercised with incredible impunity, sometimes we are worried about the silence,”
