MP requested to investigate aggression against Venezuelan child in Peru

Venezuela denounced before the ILO the impact of sanctions in labor matters

The Public Ministry asked the Peruvian Prosecutor’s Office to carry out an investigation into the aggression against the Venezuelan boy Jhoangel Jesús Zambrano Alvarado, 11 years old, in an educational center located in the Puente Piedra District, Peru.

The information was released by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, who stated that he sent a letter to his Peruvian counterpart, Pablo Sánchez Velarde.

“#NoALaXenofobia… Yesterday I sent an official letter to Pablo Sánchez Velarde Attorney General of Peru: for the serious act of xenophobia committed against a Venezuelan child, by a classmate who hit him severely, causing a stroke and cervical sprain,” William wrote. Saab on his account on the social network Twitter, accompanied by the letter.

In another message, published on the social network, the Attorney General requested that all relevant investigations be initiated, so that “justice be done in favor of a compatriot who is the victim of the fierce campaign against Venezuela.”

“We request your good offices to initiate the pertinent investigations; conducive to obtaining justice in favor of a compatriot victim of the ferocious campaign against Venezuela”, he pointed out.

The event was recorded on April 21, when the boy, while serving as his classroom delegate, notified another child that he was late for class, which generated anger in his classmate and ended up hitting him on the head and neck.

As a result of that act, the minor suffered severe trauma and internal bleeding, which led to his admission to emergency surgery in a Peruvian health center.
