MP orders charges against former prosecutors for corruption, theft and conspiracy

MP ordena imputaciones a exfiscales por corrupción, hurto y agavillamiento

The Public Ministry (MP) summoned to charge, on Monday, May 9 of this year, the former eighth prosecutors of La Guaira, Amaranta Maravi, Yuniska Ramos and Ragmari Sanchezfor the crimes of own corruption, theft or destruction of public document and conspiracy.

The information was released by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, through his official Twitter account, in which he highlighted that to date they have prosecuted more than 300 former prosecutors, who are under investigation, charged, accused or convicted, reports the web portal of the Venezuelan News Agency.

Saab also confirmed that the MP is in a constant investigation within public facilities, with the aim of ending corruption in all entities.

These actions are supported by the National Executive, which has requested, on several occasions, to fight corruption and apply the full weight of the law to those officials who violate the law.
