An alleged pet trainer who responds to the name of Williams Larez, is being investigated for allegedly being responsible for recording “bloody dog fights” to market them, thus incurring the crime of animal cruelty.
This was reported this Tuesday by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab through his twitter account; «The Anzoategui Public Ministry #investigate for #having and #impute to Williams Larez: who, pretending to be a “pet trainer”: records them and then markets those videos in the format of “bloody dog fights.”
Similarly, he added that of the dogs allegedly used for these acts of cruelty, “3 were rescued and 8 are still missing,” says the highest official of the Public Ministry.
Repudiation in the networks
Users on social networks showed their repudiation of this alleged case, and in turn thanked the Attorney General and his office for the steps taken to get to the bottom of the investigation against this alleged trainer and that justice be done for mistreated animals. .
Among the messages of rejection, the risk represented by people who attack animals stands out, since it is very common that these same subjects, when investigated, also present a history of mistreatment and harassment of children, the elderly and women.
Finally, users also expressed the need to toughen the penalties for this type of crime, through the creation of an avant-garde and timely legal instrument to defend and promote animal welfare in Venezuelan society.
