The Public Ministry is investigating the video in which former President Martinelli allegedly meets with a husband of one of the judges in the case of the punctures, informed the Attorney General, Javier Caraballo.
While Virgilio Crespo with identity card 8-257-1505 denounced the infamy and injury committed against him by the Digital Foco platform.
Crespo indicated that at no time had he held a meeting or meeting to serve as a liaison with anyone, much less with the husband of the judge in the most recent case of Mr. Ricardo Martinelli, as stated in a video prepared by Mauricio Valenzuela that went viral in social networks. Ensuring that his contact with Mr. Ricardo Martinelli was casual, where they talked as a businessman and politician since they have known each other for many years.
Unfortunately for Foco, the person named in the video as the husband of the aforementioned judge is a recognized businessman. Therefore, they are doubly untrue.
Crespo points out that as a member of the Spanish Sports Club for decades, he regularly attends this venue to share with friends, not to conspire or associate to commit any act outside the law.
For his part, the former president Martinelli assured that he was in a meeting in a local restaurant, in which the lawyer Alejandro Pérez and Virgilio Crespo were present; while he emphatically denied knowing the judge’s husband.
