Two state police officers from Barquisimeto, Lara state, were charged this Monday by the Public Ministry (MP) for the crimes of cruel treatment and conspiracy against a citizen, the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported on Monday.
In a message shared on his Twitter social network account, he specified that the officers Billis Walmart Sira Alejos and José Ángel Giménez were deprived of liberty, after their identity was verified in a video that evidences the event.
The MP recently investigated the case of police officers from Chacao for acts arbitrary and abusive towards a group of workers in the home delivery sector.
Similarly, he charged and deprived of liberty two police officers from the Portuguesa state for acting irregularly against a citizen of the entity who recorded them during an arrest.
